The checklist contain data from literature sources, personal observations and entomological collections. Some doubtful records from literature are ommited and listed below separately.
Key species
- Species of European concern (Lestes macrostigma, Coenagrion ornatum, Gomphus flavipes).
- Species protected in Ukraine (Erythromma lindenii, Anax imperator).
- Species (subspecies) which are rare (but not protected) in the South-Western Ukraine (Calopteryx splendens ancilla, Coenagrion scitulum, Aeshna cyanea, Gomphus vulgatissimus, Cordulia aenea, Selysiothemis nigra, Sympetrum pedemontanum, Sympetrum danae, Sympetrum depressiusculum.
