Distribution: Very common in Danube Delta (f. praenubila was also found here) and rare in other sites.
Habitat: Most still waters, preferably with well-developed vegetation, and can be very numerous on acidic lakes (Dijkstra, 2006), in NW Ukraine often numerous at large rivers.
Flight period in the SW Ukraine: Middle May or earlier – beginning of June.
