Distribution: Rare (Danube, Dniestr and it’s tributaries, Tiligul river)
Habitat: Almost any type of standing or slow-flowing water with bordering trees or bushes. Unlike other Lestes, does not favour ephemeral conditions (e.g. shallows, drying-out pans) (Dijkstra, 2006).
Flight period in the SW Ukraine: Beginning of June – beginning of September
