Habitat: Favours eutrophic, standing water, clogged with aquatic vegetation. Typical emergents include algal mats, hornworts (Ceratophyllum), water-milfoils (Myriophyllum) and other plants (Dijkstra, 2006).
Flight period in the SW Ukraine: Middle May – Middle August
