Distribution: Recorded in all parts of study area, but not numerous, sometimes rare
Habitat: All types of ponds, lakes and also slow rivers. Huge densities occur in acid waters without fish (Dijkstra, 2006). In the SW Ukraine found near artificial pond in cities parks. Was also recorded from meadows in the delta of large deltas.
Flight period in the SW Ukraine: End of May – Middle August
